About
What we're building.
A new arts center for the Skyland region, and the programs to fill it.
The arts center
A physical hub for the arts.
We are establishing a dedicated arts space, a playhouse and community arts center, where people can gather, create, celebrate and experience art year-round.

The layout
Open floor. Seats folded away and the whole floor clear for dances, fairs, big classes and anything that needs room.

Two floors, one flexible building
The lobby gallery, kitchen and main hall on the ground floor, with the rooftop patio, lounge, upstairs rooms and balcony overlook above.
Concept layout for planning, drawn to approximate scale. Final room uses are still being decided.
Programming
Year-round, for every kind of artist.
Arts education and workshops, performances and exhibitions, community events and collaborative creative experiences, for all ages and abilities.

How we work
More than a building. A way of working.
Supporting artists
Real support, not just visibility.
- Visibility and promotion
- Opportunities for collaboration
- Resources for creative and professional growth
Expanding access
The arts should feel welcoming, not intimidating.
- Inclusive, barrier-free programming
- Opportunities for underserved communities
- Early exposure for children and families
Connecting the region
The Skyland region is made up of many small communities. That's part of its charm, and also the challenge.
- Promoting local artists and events
- One place to discover what's on
- Connecting communities and organizations
Bringing people together
Great events for full-time residents, part-time locals and visitors alike. All are welcome.
A cultural destination
Making arts and culture part of the experience of being here, so residents and visitors connect and families experience the arts together.
A sustainable model
Built to last: community support balanced with self-sustaining revenue from events, classes and rentals.

Coming up: Mon, Oct 19
See it for yourself.
Our community-led short film premieres at Lake Arrowhead Brewing Co. Eat, drink, make teeny art and meet the people building this.
Help build it.
We are building partnerships and programming across the region right now.
